Where To Pick Your Pumpkins!

If like me you haven’t been quite so organised at sorting out a Halloween Pumpkin Picking outing just yet, here’s a handy guide just for you! At the time of creating this guide, tickets I mention are limited and may not still be available by the time you get to reading this. So once you see something you like, go and check if tickets are still available! Some are selling out quick!

The Patch, Milton Keynes
With over 80 thousand pumpkins and squashes to choose from, @thepatchmk will be a picture perfect pumpkin setting! There are some fun play areas for kids too, lots of fun to be had and tickets are now available!

The Pop Up Farm, St Albans
We love @the_pop_up_farm, you can’t get tickets just yet, but sure they will be available by end of September or the start of October! Lots of photo opportunities and a huge selection of different pumpkins!

Rumblers Farm, Hemel Hempstead
We love @rumblersfarm at Halloween! The different variations of pumpkins make it so picture perfect! Love all the different colours and sizes! Keep an eye on their Facebook page for details of when they will be welcoming guests for pumpkin picking! It will be closer to Halloween than others, but worth the wait!

Aldenham Country Park, Elstree
The Halloween event @aldenhamcountrypark was a sell out last year and everyone raved about how great it was! There are so many activities here and with the added bonus of a farm, it’s a great day out! There are still tickets available, but probably not for long!

Willows Activity Farm, St Albans
Pick your pumpkin from @willowsactivityfarm and join in on so much fun Halloween fun! What I love about these tickets is that it’s an all inclusive price, so there are no extras to pay! We have been to Willows Pumpkin Festival before and they really have thought of everything!

Legoland, Windsor
Brick or treat @legolandwindsor looks very cool! I’ve always wanted to go to their Halloween event, they completely transform the place into a pumpkin filled wonderland and you’ve got the added bonus of all the rides too!

Mead Open Farm, Leighton Buzzard
The Pumpkin Spooktacular event @meadopenfarm looks awesome! There is a pumpkin patch, a fairytale villains trail and a tiny terrors tractor ride. Every paying child gets a free pumpkin too! ðŸŽƒ

Knebworth Gardens
This Halloween event @knebworth_house encourages fancy dressed little ones to follow the trail around the grounds, solve the spooky clues and take part in all the fun activities and crafts available! If you haven’t been to @knebworth_house before, you don’t know what you are missing, it’s utterly beautiful!

Church Farm Arderley, Stevenage
You can now get your tickets to @church_farm_ardeley Spooky Farm event and it sounds pretty special! Meet the animals, go on a pumpkin hunt and take a walk around the fairy woodland!

Green Dragon Eco Farm, Buckingham
The pick your own pumpkin and decorating experience @greendragon_ecofarm sounds fab, not only that, they have a slime making workshop and lots more to entertain the kids! Tickets now available!

Farmer Paul’s, Aylesbury
A family run farm, @farmer_pauls_ specialises in giant pumpkins, my favourite! All the pumpkins they grow can be picked at The Pumpkin Barn at Weedon Hill Farm, with plenty of photo opportunities! ðŸ“¸ Last year they had A Night In The Pumpkin Barn event, which I think they are bringing back! Just keep your eyes peeled on their Facebook page!

Priory Farm, Redhill
The Pumpkin Pirates buried their hidden treasure @prioryfarmestate and this Halloween they are coming back to find it! This has everything you could imagine to keep your little ones entertained, a Halloween Trail at Discovery Land, tractor rides and more! We have family in Nutfield, so I might be planning a mini road trip in October just for this very event! It looks amazing!

Crockford Bridge Farm, Weybridge
Pumpkin picking @crockfordbridge is limited to certain weekends in October, limited tickets available, one weekend is already sold out! You can buy pre-harvested pumpkins every day in October from their Pumpkin Market, if the picking part isn’t priority!

Secretts, Milford
Tickets are selling fast for @secrettsmilford, located at Hurst Farm! You need to book a time slot online, under 2’s are free and there is a spooky BBQ too! I’ve heard great things about Secretts PYO pumpkin weeks, so if your local I highly recommend!

Cammas Hall, Needham Green
I love that @cammashall have pumpkin night slots as well as daytime ones, great for older kids and big kids like us! Lots of interactive fun for little ones and they even have a couple of SEN sessions available to book too, love that!

Tulley’s Pumpkin Farm, Crawley
Pick your own pumpkins by day @tulleyspyopumpkins with the kids and then leave them at home to enjoy the Shocktober Fest, which looks pretty frightening! ðŸ¤£ Tickets to all events are now available!

Chessington World of Adventures
The howloween event @chessingtonworldofadventures looks so exciting, with the legend of the wild witches show! Tickets are available to book, but I think more is to be revealed for the event so keep your eyes peeled!

Umberslade Estate, Solihull
Ok, so @umberslade_estate is a little further a field, depending on where you live, but after just finding out about this wonderful place, I can’t wait to visit, maybe for a little weekend trip away! There is a pop up pumpkin patch which you need to prebook and there is also a family bonfire and fireworks on 30th October too, tickets also available online!

Baby Loss Awareness Week, which takes place from 9th - 15th October aims to raise awareness about pregnancy and baby loss in the UK. We are joined by Booberrit's Naomi who has been kind enough to share her story with us.  * TRIGGER WARNING* OUR STORY For us it was late September when what started as spotting (at work) ended in a week of harrowing physical and emotional pain (in hospital) which turned us from ‘parents to be’ (with hopes and dreams ) into a statistic.
